Terms of Service
Last updated 1 August 2026 · This is a placeholder agreement — replace with your reviewed legal text before shipping.
By downloading or using Outloop ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Using Outloop
Outloop is a personal wellbeing tool that helps you spend less time doomscrolling by asking you to earn screen time through healthy actions. It's a supportive aid, not medical or psychological advice. Use your own judgment, and don't rely on it in place of professional care.
Your responsibilities
- Use the app only for lawful, personal purposes.
- Do only what's safe for you — never push yourself into exercise or activity that could cause harm to earn scroll time.
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or misuse the app.
Earning and verification
Outloop verifies actions like steps and push-ups on your device to keep the system honest. Verification depends on your device's sensors and may occasionally be imperfect. We provide these features as-is and can't guarantee flawless accuracy.
Purchases & Premium
Outloop is free to start. Outloop Premium and any in-app purchases — including the optional "buy your way out" scroll time — are sold through the App Store and governed by Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew and can be managed or cancelled in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Availability
We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to keep the app working well but don't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Disclaimer & liability
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. We'll update this page and the date above, and continued use of the app means you accept the changes.
